5m CPU Intel Core i5-4590 equivalent or better GPU Nvidia GTX 970. Me to enable it when it says its not supported but it is supported lolĬore i5 Haswell Refresh i5-4590 100 3.3 1M 6M C0 84 HD Graphics 4600 1150MHz 7823v36. The back knob is large and easy to turn, but it would be nice if it had a taller. I haven't noticed it untill now but I am confused why my bios allows Under full load on all cores my cpu only got to 58c

I double checked the bois and its still enabled. I like hwinfo64 that gives max and min readings Is this something new or all you ever got from it ? Then whats the temps ? is the cpu getting so hot it throttles all the way back to protect it ? What motherboard do you have to go check its manual on that ? Wonder if it turned off / disabled in the bios ? I do know if you flash you need to follow the footnote instructions for using a refresh chip asus is the same and guys run in to issue as wellĬause it almost sounds like you may not have the correct bios flashed for use of haswell refresh cpu's ? You must use one of the following methods to update this BIOS.Ĭore i5 Haswell Refresh i5-4590 100 3.3 1M 6M C0 84 HD Graphics 4600 1150MHz 7823v36.zip Support Haswell-Refresh series Processors. With that cpu used you also need to be sure your bios is 3.6 or newer I guess you could try to clear cmos and with that reset the motherboards bios bact to default to see if a setting got changed by mistake The task manager reads it like that, but. The game runs ok when my CPU doesn't get maxed out.Sure don't look right even yopr min is stuck at 3.5 ? at idle it should drop way down to a low power state Turns out that leaving the clock speed fixed at 3.70 GHz+enabling Intel SpeedStep+enabling TurboBoost made Windows report a speed of over 4.00 GHz. None of those seem to be having an effect but I'm not sure. I've tried turning online services off and on. I downloaded the manual cache for my flight area. What's up? What service or process is tanking my CPU? I've tried using the rolling cache, not using it. But then today, I'm back down to <10 frames. I noticed the live weather was down during this time too. This past week it went back up to 30 and my CPU was at 75% usage. This lasted for about a week and it was unplayable. Then a few days later, I was getting <10FPS and I noticed my CPU was totally maxed out at 100% usage. But, upon release, I was able to get about 30FPS on low settings (and I mean, everything low.) Not solid, but it would stay around 30. Originally posted by TheKirkendall:I know my rig is a little older and not the best specs.
